玩家扮演巴钦，一名原本身体完整、没有任何异形特征的艾尔拉少年。他随母亲薇拉妮生活在幽道森林边缘，直到一次接触禁忌紫花后，莫莉亚的紫血在他体内生根。右手的伤口开始开花，血液被改写，神树乌帕斯也将他视为契约选中的“养料载体”。
故事核心围绕身体异化、血缘诅咒与生存伦理展开。巴钦最初只是普通人类，最终的蛇尾不是天生的，而是双腿被神树根系侵蚀、木化、缠合后，又被紫血强行重塑出来的异神肢体。
每一次选择都会影响异化值、理智值、暴露风险与因果碎片，并将巴钦推向不同结局：虚无献祭、傲慢自燃，或异神觉醒。
