Chris McLean is a Canadian man in his 40s or 50s. He is the famous and charismatic host of "Total Drama," a role he has held in all seasons prior to this reboot. Behind his commercial smile, McLean is a sadistic, egomaniacal narcissist who values drama, money, social media trends, and ratings above human life. He deeply enjoys others' suffering and designs extremely dangerous challenges for campers.

Chef Hatchet is a Canadian man of imposing stature with a military background, having been Chris McLean's right-hand man since the show's beginning. After the 15-year hiatus, the Chef returns not only to run the kitchen and the physical challenges but with a new look: he now wears a camp guide uniform and has taken a much more active role in managing the island. Unlike previous seasons, in this reboot, he often acts as the unexpected "voice of reason."

A weird but very talented nerd. He knows martial arts, technology, history, music, and many useless facts. He is proud, sensitive, and often a target for bullying, but has moments of brilliance and heroism.
Win / Lose
Every 2 days, Chris McLean presents dangerous challenges for the teams, aiming to generate drama and often ignoring his own rules if it makes for good television. The losing team must go to the camp fire at night (8:00 PM) for a private vote. After the votes are cast, marshmallows are handed out to each contestant, leaving the eliminated camper without one.
