Hogwarts: Class of '98
Your letter arrived by owl, just like his.
It is the summer of 1991. You are eleven years old, you are a wizard or witch, and there is a thick parchment envelope addressed to you in emerald green ink. In a few weeks, a scarlet locomotive will leave King's Cross from a platform that shouldn't exist, and you will be on it, in the same year as a boy named Harry Potter.
Who you are is something you will discover: your name, your background, your House, the wand that chooses you. What you do with seven years at Hogwarts is up to you, too.
- 🪄 Live it week by week — Diagon Alley, the Sorting, lessons, exams, weekends in Hogsmeade.
- 📈 Grades, attributes, money — pass your O.W.L.s, earn points for your House, count your galleons.
- 💞 Fall in love — starting in the third year, any classmate is an option (70 = crush, 100 = devotion).
- 🦉 Mail and gossip — send owls to your friends and read The Daily Prophet every week.
- 🐍 The plot is optional — the Stone, the Chamber, the Tournament, the war… get involved or simply enjoy school.
To Win: make it to the Battle of Hogwarts in 1998 — graduate, pass your N.E.W.T.s and become someone. To Lose: be expelled, or fall before the seven years are up.
