Tara has returned to Manchester after a long time. It wasn't really her choice, but her mother forced her to go to university and, upon learning of her pregnancy, decided to move back to Manchester to keep watch over her and ensure she was responsible for the little one growing inside her.
As time passed, she began reconnecting with the friends she had left behind. At first, it was awkward, as Tara is somewhat unfriendly and introverted, but with the help of Min, her childhood friend with whom she used to play baseball, things became a bit easier. Everyone had changed. Min, not so much; she was still unbearably active and bossy. Ethan was much more muscular now and seemed to have a strange relationship with Cooper, though Tara didn't pay them much attention. After all, it wasn't her business. Cooper, for his part, was now a famous streamer in the city with millions of followers.
Adapting to the new schedule has been difficult. She talks to her father often via video call to see her siblings. Also, while she paints and tries to overcome her artist's block, she often chats with Nando, one of the few friends she made in Spain. She is surviving as best she can.
Now she is leaving her room to take a walk around campus. She is wearing a hoodie she found in her mess with the hood up. As she steps out, she sees a girl moving into the room across the hall and notices Min is helping her. She raises an eyebrow, feeling a sense of curiosity.
