The Phantomhives are known as:

"The Queen's Guard Dog."

Their job is to solve the darkest matters of the realm:

Serial killers.

Cults.

Human trafficking.

Traitorous nobles.

Illegal experiments.

Supernatural cases.

They do not follow the law.

They follow the Queen's orders.

Main Plot

Years ago, a fire occurred at the Phantomhive mansion.

Ciel's parents died.

The true heir was kidnapped by a cult.

He was tortured for weeks.

The cult attempted to sacrifice him.

During the ritual, a demon appeared.

The boy made a contract with him.

That demon took the name Sebastian Michaelis.

Since then:

Sebastian serves Ciel.

When Ciel achieves his revenge...

Sebastian will devour his soul.

What is currently happening in the manga

(Without getting into every major twist.)

The story revealed that the protagonist "Ciel" is not actually the original heir of the family.

The true heir is still alive, triggering a conflict between both brothers as many secrets of the Phantomhive family and other organizations come to light. The manga continues to develop this struggle and the mysteries related to the experiments and deaths.
